Academy 4 Program Director

Position Summary:
The Academy 4 and Leaders 5 Program Director provides leadership to Academy 4 and Leaders 5 programs and staff and oversees all aspects of the program development, curriculum delivery, promotion, scheduling, and develops and fosters relationships with churches and schools to focus on program growth. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
  • Must embrace the mission of Academy 4 to connect churches to schools and their communities to mentor 4th graders in leadership.
  • Understands the value of service and is willing to do whatever it takes for the program to succeed and reach at-risk children, helping shape them into future leaders.
  • Organized and excels at executing processes and procedures and has a great attention to detail.
  • Able to clearly describe the goals and supporting tasks that accomplish the mission of Academy 4 while speaking and writing.
  • Able to demonstrate they are a leader who can support a local team of volunteers and encourage and support Site Coordinators in their role.
  • A self-starter, who can manage their tasks in a timely manner, given other obligations in their life, while delegating and overseeing responsibilities given to volunteers.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations that support and implement our Academy 4 and LEADERS 5 program objectives.
  • Strategically map-out a program schedule and timeline across all Academy 4 schools and ensure it is followed.
  • Oversee and advise Program Managers in their supervisory role of Site Coordinators.
  • Ensure the smooth and proper functioning of current programs to maintain standards and brand.
  • Assess and manage program risks with attention to child safety.
  • Suggest innovative plans and processes to improve program and to prepare for scalability and growth.
  • Develop work systems and processes that effectively drive productivity
  • Speak strategically about vision and provide strong leadership to guide implementation of programs by staff.
  • Set goals for the program staff with tools to track progress, setbacks, and overall performance.
  • Oversee Academy 4 and Leaders 5 program budgets.
  • Cultivate new associations with schools, churches, and other community organizations in coordination with the Executive Director.
